About Me

I am an assistant professor in Sign Language Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I am also an affiliated researcher at the Multimodal Language Department at Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics.

As a language researcher, I study how differences in language modality (sign, speech, gesture) influence the course of language use and development in children and adults.
