I will be giving a keynote presentation at SCALA workshop, which will take place on 20-21 May 2026 in Rome, Italy. This workshop is about spatial communication and spatial cognition across the lifespan, focusing on how these abilities develop and change from early childhood to old age in both typical and atypical populations. It brings together research on spoken and sign languages, navigation, and spatial reasoning. The workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on developmental trajectories, variation, and change in spatial cognition and communication.
